Ms. Bayne joined the firm in 2019 as a Law Clerk, shortly after receiving her Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School. She became an Associate of the firm in 2020. She received a B.S. in Agribusiness from Oklahoma State University. Ms. Bayne’s practice focuses on natural resources and environmental law, animal and endangered species law, and government contracts.
Ms. Bayne’s studies at GW Law focused on the intersection of agricultural and environmental law. While in law school, Ms. Bayne served as Senior Production Editor for the George Washington Journal on Energy and Environmental Law and involved a variety of school groups, holding positions such as Dean’s Fellow, Director of Weekly Programming, Student Ambassador, and Softball Club Captain and Co-President.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bayne was a legal intern at the Department of Agriculture’s Office of General Counsel, Natural Resources and Environment Division and clerked for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Agriculture, where she worked as part of the House and Senate conference on the 2018 Farm Bill.
