Biography
Ms. Cherot focuses her practice on real estate and commercial transactions. She has represented private and public entities in negotiating and structuring a large number of sophisticated real estate transactions, including the representation of two public housing authorities in low-income housing tax credit projects. Other representative transactions include the purchase and financing of shopping centers, mobile home parks, residential subdivisions and commercial buildings. She has also represented businesses in the purchases and sales of stock and assets, including the recent purchases of several retail and wholesale businesses. In connection with these transactions, she formed and organized the corporation or limited liability company that owns and develops the real estate. Ms. Cherot served as managing shareholder of the firm for more than ten years.
