Biography

Kristy Garrett focuses her practice primarily on transactional matters, specifically commercial transactions, real estate finance, local counsel opinion work and corporate governance. She has represented banks, auto finance companies, and corporations in commercial lending matters. Other representative transactions include the leasing, purchases and sales of commercial buildings. She has also represented several businesses in stock and asset sales, including the management of all due diligence efforts, the review of all contracts, and the preparation of all closing documents. She has advised large corporations in the areas of regulatory compliance, collections and general contract drafting and review.

When she is not practicing law, Kristy enjoys spending time with her three children, husband and dog skiing, hiking, and running in the beautiful Alaskan mountains and wilderness. She also enjoys volunteering with the adaptive ski program at Challenge Alaska where she serves as a board member.
