Erich D. Grome joined the firm in 2018 as a Law Clerk and assists our clients in the legal, legislative, and regulatory arenas.
Mr. Grome was born and raised in Syracuse, New York and earned degrees in Economics and History from Union College. Focusing on the intersection of transportation law and national security law, Mr. Grome completed his Juris Doctorate at the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University in 2018.
While in law school, Mr. Grome served as Publications Editor and Managing Editor of the Journal of Law, Economics & Policy and published two works in the Florida Journal of International Law and Journal of Maritime Law and Commerce on China’s proposed Nicaraguan Canal and the proposed U.S. autonomous Ghost Fleet, respectively. Mr. Grome worked on Capitol Hill in the personal office of Rep. John Katko (NY-24), as well as regulatory offices within the U.S. Department of Transportation.
