Stephen H. Hutchings
Mr. Hutchings’ practice concentrates on corporate law and commercial litigation, especially construction and government contracts, and personal injury claims. He has participated in numerous jury and bench trials throughout Alaska, as well as mediations, arbitrations and administrative hearings. He represented the State of Alaska as District Attorney in Bethel and Sitka, Alaska, and as supervisor of the Torts and Special Litigation Section of the attorney general’s office in Anchorage for more than ten years before joining the firm in 1987.
Prior to entering the law, Mr. Hutchings worked as a commercial fisherman in the Pacific Northwest and as a high school instructor in San Jose, Costa Rica.
