Mara Michaletz

Ms. Michaletz’s practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial litigation and business, construction, and insurance disputes, including cases dealing with tort liability, personal injury, fraud, unfair trade practices, breach of contract, insurance coverage claims, and general negligence. Ms. Michaletz’s practice also includes administrative law and compliance-related litigation in the areas of healthcare, aviation, wildlife, and municipal code enforcement.

Prior to joining the firm, as a trial attorney in the Anchorage District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Michaletz tried dozens of jury trials throughout Alaska, prosecuting domestic violence, property, and homicide cases. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Peter Michalski of the Anchorage Superior Court. Ms. Michaletz served as an AmeriCorps volunteer in the Atlanta Public Schools from 2002-2003.
