Ms. Davies’ practice primarily focuses on Alaska municipal government, construction disputes, complex civil litigation, and appellate procedure. Ms. Davies represents cities throughout Alaska in the enforcement of municipal codes and regulations, and advises the firm’s municipal clients in a wide array of procedural and legal issues that arise in the context of drafting legislation, statutory compliance, contract law, and litigation strategy. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Davies practiced insurance defense law representing a number of carriers and insureds on a wide range of matters involving medical malpractice and personal injury liability, including liquor liability. Ms. Davies also previously served as a trial attorney at the Anchorage District Attorney’s Office prosecuting felony-level crimes.
