Mr. Gross's litigation practice emphasizes complex multi-party civil litigation such as insurance coverage disputes, product liability claims, serious personal injuries, large loss subrogation claims, and complex litigation torts. He has represented clients in jury trials, appellate courts, and in administrative proceedings before numerous local agencies. He has also counseled various clients and negotiated with their insurers on insurance coverage matters. His clients range from individuals to small local businesses to national and international corporations.

Mr. Gross concentrates his practice on civil litigation, including numerous complex litigation cases. He has handled literally hundreds of cases at all stages from pre-suit through trial, with discovery, settlement negotiations and mediation in between. Appellate advocacy is a large part of his practice, as illustrated by the following reported decisions. These decisions, some of which concern issues of first impression in Alaska, have impacted Alaska’s insurance laws and complex litigation practices.
