• Public Finance and Municipal Law

Mr. Vassar is bond and legal counsel to various bond issuers, including the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, Alaska Student Loan Corporation, Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority and Alaska Energy Authority in issuing a broad range of short- and long-term debt. His responsibilities have included drafting of bond indentures, supplemental indentures, resolutions, tax and arbitrage certificates and all closing documents; tax and general law research; volume cap coordination; communication and negotiation with underwriters, credit enhancers, trustees, and other parties; and other work related to bond financings.
