Ms. Limeres’ practice emphasizes the regulation of qualified retirement plans, designing retirement and welfare benefit plans, and advising employers concerning employee benefits regulatory compliance and taxation issues. She has represented plans and employers in voluntary compliance, penalty assessment, prohibited transaction and other proceedings before the DOL and IRS. Ms. Limeres also advises employers regarding best employment practices and represents employers in adversarial proceedings. Ms. Limeres’ advice practice focuses on compliance with a wide array of federal and state employment laws, incorporating those laws into working personnel policies, internal practices, and hiring, discipline and termination decisions. Her practice also includes assisting self-insured group health plans and health care providers to achieve compliance with HIPAA privacy, security and electronic data interchange standards.
