Mr. Lewis's practice involves litigation before state and federal courts, federal regulatory agencies, state and municipal administrative bodies, and arbiters. He has successfully litigated complex multiple-party wrongful termination actions, construction claims and business tort cases. His employment litigation experience includes defense of hostile work environment, sexual harassment, discrimination, whistle blowing, ADA, FMLA and FLSA claims, and litigation regarding the interpretation and enforcement of collective bargaining agreements. Mr. Lewis' other civil litigation experience includes personal injury, defamation, antitrust, trade secret, restraint of trade, business torts, contract disputes, fraud and misrepresentation, embezzlement, insurance disputes, ERISA, construction claims, lender liability and products liability. Mr. Lewis has handled appeals to the Alaska Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He devotes a substantial portion of his practice to non-litigation services such as general representation and counsel on health, commercial, corporate, and employment related matters.
