Mr. Lampp provides litigation counsel to a variety of parties and third-party subpoena recipients in civil proceedings before state and federal courts. His responsibilities have included extensive research and drafting of a wide range of litigation documents; supervising major discovery efforts in document- and testimony-intensive disputes; taking and defending depositions of party and nonparty deponents; arguing procedural, discovery and dispositive motions before state and federal courts; advising clients on litigation and settlement strategies; and conducting bench trials in state court.
Mr. Lampp's litigation experience involves a broad array of substantive areas, including construction disputes (representing prime contractors, owners, subcontractors and sureties), securities fraud claims, breach of contract and business tort claims, computer hacking and theft of trade secrets claims, and intercarrier disputes between telecommunication companies. Mr. Lampp also has significant environmental counseling experience, including matters dealing with CERCLA and analogous state laws, permitting under Clean Water Act section 404, the National Environmental Policy Act, environmental due diligence for corporate mergers and acquisitions, defending enforcement actions brought by state and local agencies, and assisting corporate clients to navigate state environmental laws and regulations to achieve their business goals.
